SalesFactor’s MANAGED SALES business division offers the industry a comprehensive contract-sales concept that includes partial or total coworker and success responsibility. The Outdoor Media Sales GmbH is one of SalesFactor’s current reference clients in the Managed Sales division.
The Outdoor Media Sales GmbH is a young and quickly growing marketing company for out-of-home media. Together with the Ströer Deutsche Städte Medien GmbH (a consortium that leads the outdoor-advertising market), OMS is tasked to market the Ströer consortium’s innovative services portfolio throughout Germany.
OMS manages the entire sales process: beginning with the organization, continuing through the recruiting of suitable marketing employees, and culminating in the success-related acquisition of commissions. At the end of 2007, OMS employed a staff of 21 people involved with the sale of out-of-home advertising.
OMS’s goals include more than just winning commissions. Ströer recognized SalesFactor’s methodological competence and the outstanding importance of this expertise for sales-related tasks. The applied methods and tools should have an exemplary character for the sales of the Ströer Group and should gradually be transferred to the consortium’s own sales. OMS’s demonstrable success in the sale of out-of-home advertising provides the impetus for the motivation.
